SOPA | PIPA Postponed – Hopefully Stopped!
7Lamar Smith, Author of SOPA, said on Friday on a statement that he is pulling off the bill “Until there is wider agreement on a resolution.”
Smith, who is a Texas Republican Congressman in the House of Representatives, said in his statement: ”I have heard from the critics and I take seriously their concerns regarding proposed legislation to address the problem of online piracy. It is clear that we need to revisit the approach on how best to address the problem of foreign thieves that steal and sell American inventions and products.”
About 40 Supporters of the SOPA/PIPA U.S bill, withdrew their support on Wednesday, after online encyclopaedia Wikipedia, and thousand other websites, went “dark” for 24 hours earlier this week in a co-ordinated online protest.
In a Statement, U.S Senator Harry Reid said on friday, “I’ve decided to postpone Tuesday’s vote on PIPA”.

I Don’t have a New Years resolution list, but I’ll surely strive to make at least even just 1 or more change for the better, become a Man of responsibility and be someone who might someday make a big leap or change not just for myself, but most importantly for my Family.
I’ll soon have my own family to take care of, and me and my wife will soon meet our Little Angel “Baby Zachary” – Super excited, i promised myself that i will surely make the best out of me and become a better or even a Great dad to my First Born Son and to my Super Lovely Wife.
Also praying for our Dear Lord God to continuously Bless those family who were victims of the recent calamity and those who are in need.
