Baby Name Adventure
When your overjoyed and so thrilled about baby stuff, you tend to forget the most important thing….A NAME. Even before we knew our baby’s gender, we already thought about possible name combinations. From name initials, possible nicknames, name origins and all that was considered to make sure our baby’s name is something unique yet significant. It would be nice if there’s a little history behind that unique name rather than just telling him it was randomly chosen over the internet (which we have actually tried out of frustration. lol).As I brainstormed through several name combinations, Ron here is more concerned on how a wonderful name like RAFAELLO can be bullied. Being with a “used-to-be-a-name-bully” is somehow funny yet very critical to deal with. Seems like all the names that I can think of has an equal of a funny sounding name, which discourages me much to continue. Nevertheless, it is fun doing this as an alternative to our generic bonding with one another.
As of writing, we already have a couple of name combinations on our list but are still looking for more good sounding names. It never occurred to me how important a name was until now. Unlike other couples, even before they conceived, they’ve already decided what particular name they would choose. But going through all these with Ron is ecstatic. I guess it would be a nice story to share with our son once he already understands the essence of blessing someone with a name.
We may have not chosen a name yet to our handsome-for-sure baby boy, but Ron and I know it will be one heck of an awesome name we’ll be able to baptize him with. We’ll definitely keep you guys posted once we come up with a perfect name to our little angel. Suggestions will do too!
Ciao!
