Caring for nature and preserving its beauty is the most tremendous gift we can ever give to our descendants. Lately, there have been several campaigns launched about eco-friendly materials and pollution-free environment that people are interested to take part with. I see this as a very good start for a wonderful future to all of us.
During my grade school days, our teacher used to ask us to make a portfolio about the 7 Wonders of the World. And so as a proud Filipino, I always spun in excitement seeing the Banawe Rice Terraces included on the top 7 list. Little did I know that there’s a timely update for such.
Now, a worldwide poll has been ongoing for people to participate in choosing the New 7 Wonders of the World. Votes are casted over the internet and over the phone. As an individual, you can vote as much as you want so long as you have tons of working emails.
I already casted a vote over the internet and used all of my working emails to take part of this record breaking poll worldwide. Taking a glimpse of the website, 28 nominees are vying for the 7 spots of the New Wonders of the World. Philippines have the PP Underground River as one of its aspiring prospect.
I highly recommend people to take part of this poll. It does not only bring glory to our country if one of our precious topographic point gets chosen, but it will also inspire us more to maintain a better environment and to create a bright and clean future for our babies.
