It’s supposed to be a gathering with my friends, when all of them instantly bailed because of other priorities and appointments.

Ron and I eventually took the time to stroll in Ayala as we think of something we need to buy for our needs.

Since we left home without eating lunch assuming that it would be a good ol’ dining with my friends, we end up stashing Casa Verde while we hungrily filled our minds with tasty delights found on their menu. And of course, the benefit of having a camera is to take photos of our guilty pleasures!

We started with two appetizers, first the “karlamari” which is their own brand of crispy calamari dipped in some sort of BBQ flavored sauce.

Our other top choice was their Blazing Nachos which is a plateful of crispy tacos filled with ground pork, cheese, jalapenos, cabbage strips and a scoop of thick cream on top.

Pretty much, the appetizers were good enough, but we’ve tasted better calamari and nachos which were even offered for a cheaper cost. But overall, we’ve enjoyed them!

After a couple of minutes, our most awaited monster meal was served. Brian’s Ribs has been the restaurant’s best seller and is also one of the most affordable baby back ribs you can ever find around town.

For only 198Php you can already enjoy a sumptuous large cut of baby back ribs with the option of rice or mash potato plus buttered vegetable on the side.

For a couple of minutes, we seriously concentrated on our big plates as if we were two strangers only seated on the same table.

While eating earnestly, I took a glimpse of Ron’s plate and there I saw him eating graciously while I ate like a mad dog which can be mirrored from my messy plate.

Still Starving… lol!

From the time I conceived, I am already used to myself eating like I’ve never eaten in weeks.

Obviously, I ended up ordering another 2 cups of rice for me and Ron. Ron wasn’t able to finish his 2nd cup of rice, while I finished everything up in a jiffy.

Not to mention, their bottomless Iced Teas were really great. Ron and I had their Panama Orange iced tea which is very refreshing for a sunny afternoon.

I
t was indeed a good Saturday to end October with and a perfect start for November.

Overall, we really had fun sitting in Casa Verde enjoying the Halloween feel they had prepared for their munchers. And as expected, there will be more and more eat out
s to come for daddy piggy blogger Ron and mommy piggy blogger Yvette!

And this is how it ends – ron
